Capital campaign preplanning, which can take three months to one year, is a
process of gathering together vital documents you’ll need to be successful in your
campaign, says Frances Roen, founder of Fundraising Sol (Minneapolis, MN).
What happens when a donor doesn’t respond to your meeting request? Whether your request is to take them to coffee, to offer a tour, or to request a gift — donor silence can be disheartening, but it's not the end of the road or the relationship.
Nonprofit staff and volunteers are busier than ever. In the crunch to bring in funding, sometimes time is spent approaching funders who are not a good fit, which wastes your valuable time. In relationships between nonprofits and funders, just as for any soulmates, needs should be equally met. In this session, participants will learn how to prospect, research and identify potential funders.
Join us for part 1 of a conversation with Frances Roen of Fundraising Sol to learn the five key ingredients to reclaim fundraising as a practice that nourishes the heart and sol of your team and those you serve. Meet Frances Roen, a Georgia girl at heart, and has been graciously adopted by beautiful, snowy Minnesota. She is a forty-something daughter, friend, mom, wife, and entrepreneur, and is always on the look-out for a perfectly fried piece of chicken.
Frances is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) with nearly 20 years of experience fundraising, and has raised over $160M for nonprofits across the globe. She holds a Bachelor of Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia, and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

sense of where you might have gaps, says Frances Roen,
founder of Fundraising Sol (Minneapolis, MN).
